Friendly, light and airy, though small, single room pub in the Shirley Parkgate shopping centre near Asda. Four regularly changing guest ales are served, including a dark ale, from local and national independent breweries, plus five craft beers, also including a dark. The pub has all of the feel of a micropub but has embraced some of the needs of the modern clientele such as sports television and background music. A changing range of canned craft beer is also available. There is always a warm welcome and excellent quality beer.
