This popular local dates from the late 1930s / early 1940s and is a large, open-plan pub. There are up to five guest ales and a real cider on offer, in addition to the two regular beers. The usual Ember Inns food range is offered; the pub also opens at 10 am on Saturday and Sunday for brunch. Voted Most Improved Pub 2016 by the local CAMRA branch.
