Named after Middleton's last Lord of the Manor, this centre of town pub, formerly a Kwicksave store, is popular with locals, shoppers and as a meeting place for night revellers. Adorned with historical pictures of old Middleton and a library for those wanting a quiet read with their pints, it hosts twice yearly beer festivals and occasional Meet the Brewer nights. Local beers feature frequently, as well as more unusual ones. With a very keen real ale champion, this community Wetherspoons has really come of age in recent years in terms of real ale and is well worth a visit. Real ales served from 9am daily.
This Pub serves many changing beers and 2 regular beers.
