Long-standing free house on the old main road through the village, which is now bypassed. Two large rooms and now also a smaller one which was used for dining. The Blue Elephant Indian Restaurant has moved to George Street and the pub has reopened under new management.

Listed. Late C18/early C19. Possibly a re-fronting of an earlier building.
