Large, rambling former Morrell’s pub that spent some time in the hands of Gale’s, before their takeover by Fuller’s. The interior is multi level, with a large central bar serving the two rooms, and there is a garden to the rear and tables to the front. Live music is held fortnightly, and there are other events such as meat draws. Planning approval has been given (20/00934/FUL) for erection of dwellings in existing car park but shows 6 spaces for pub. Work has started.
