This 1835 pub has 3 distinct drinking areas and sun trap courtyard. With many guest beers from 14 cooled hand pulls it is longstanding Cask Marque accredited and now also a CAMRA Golden Award Winner. Real cider, mild, and a stout or porter usually available, and a large range of overseas bottled beers. Fresh bar snacks usually available.

With many events: acoustic club Wednesdays, quality live music Thursdays and quiz nights last Sunday each month. Telford Comedy Club on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, Quality live music on some Thursday & Saturday nights,

Joint ale festivals with sister pub Elephant & Castle, Dawley 1st weekends May and October with 19,000 different ales since 1995. Large free car park and bus station at rear, 4 minute walk from railway station.
