As the name suggests the Fox under the Hill is situated at the foot of Shooters Hill, on the London side, opposite Hornfair Park and the Charlton Lido. It is part of the Hungry Horse chain and so is aimed squarely at the family market. It has a large interior divided into different areas with an extensive pub food menu, but only a single real ale sold through 2 handpumps. There is a car park to the side plus ample parking nearby for those taking the family for lunch. The walls are adorned with pictures and stories of local famous residents such as Boy George and Manfred Mann.
