The original two-bar pub is now part of the seating area with original floorboards; the current bar is in an extension. It is divided into several areas internally, elegantly furnished, dadoed and beamed, and has a large and spacious garden. Weekly events include Monday's quiz night, Wednesday's grill night, and Friday's fish night, and there is occasional live music. The pub has a large car park and a grassed garden with many picnic benches. The village war memorial stands opposite.

A report June 2023 says just one real ale available.
