Built in the late 17th century.this imposing inn features a large patio at the rear and a drinking area at the front. Inside a comfortable split-level bar with distinct drinking areas, one with a log fire, plus several areas mainly for dining, one dog friendly (dog biscuits supplied). An occasional guest beer accompanies the Fuller's range. The good, varied menu includes vegetarian options, and local produce is used where possible. There is a large car park including disabled spaces. Accommodation is next to the pub.
