Eagles Crag usually open their tap room to the public from 5pm to 11pm on the last Friday and Saturday of the month, although December opening will normally be earlier in the month - please check their Facebook page for details. A DJ or other entertainment often features after 7pm.

The taproom occupies a large part of the ground floor of a striking Victorian mill building. although access is via a short flight of steps. The mill stands alongside the main A646 Burnley Road - there is a bus stop outside. For February 2023 the seating space has been enlarged, and a new bar offering a wider choice of their ales has been added.
