NB - the Hare & Hounds will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays during January 2024.

Reopened in late September 2023, now serving one regular beer form Thwaites and up to three guest beers from their approved list. Food is available daily, and includes the well-known pies from Pieminister. There is a quiz on Thursday evenings.

Originally built in the 17th century as a farmhouse, this large and comfortable ex-Whitbread pub is now owned by Thwaites. The refurbished spacious semi-open plan lounge, complete with its original massive stone fireplace and open fire, faces towards the bar. There is a small snug and a large separate dining room to the left, the latter constructed in a former barn and cottage. Outside there is a terraced beer garden and a large resurfaced car park.
