This was one of Fuller's earliest attempts at a 'gastro-pub' when it was refurbished in 1996 and laid out in a cafe-bar style. It has certainly established a good reputation for its food. There is plenty of seating. Open Mic Night Sunday evening and Thursday is Quiz night from 8pm. Sunday lunchtimes are busy serving Sunday roasts. Large function room available. The pub can be easily missed tucked away in a side road from the more prominent Red Cow.

The pub is now under new magement from November 2023 – Ben Abrahams and Christian Arden.
