A white fronted restaurant opposite the church and De-Gray's mausoleum has a bar where drinkers are welcomed, offering one or two real ales usually including something from 3 Brewers of St Albans. There is a very pleasant separate restaurant area to the rear of the pub. Breakfasts are served on Sunday mornings. There is a sizeable rear garden with pleasant views.
