A family run pub and restaurant, with an enthusiastic local following, that overlooks the town square in the very heart of this cosy market town. Admire the eclectic mix of memorabilia and nic nacs that hang from every available space. Home-cooked food is served in the bar and restaurant, using where possible locally sourced ingredients, and all cooked to order; Sunday roast included. Five ales are served at all times. Regular beers are Muck & Straw from Holsworthy and Otter Bitter, with the three other pumps being changed with St.Austell beers and local ones often from Hanlons, Exeter and Black Tor breweries. There is street parking outside the pub and a pay and display car park 50 yards away. The pub's closing times will be later if there is custom.
