This is a family owned and run hotel with a relaxed atmosphere where locals and visitors mingle happily together. The nicely decorated main bar areas are a mix of comfy chunky chairs and sofas and much of the original wooden flooring has been retained. The adjacent restaurant has wood panelled walls and more rustic furnishing. The hotel opens earlier than shown for tea and coffee. Real Ale has been reintroduced for 2023 with currently one handpump and a changing selection.
