Attractive black and white timbered pub, consisting of two small and cosy rooms. The bar is pleasantly basic, and features a lovely open fire as well as the pool table. The lounge is more intimate and plushly furnished. Both rooms feature TVs but thankfully they are not routinely on. Surprisingly large beer garden to the rear, now with a large marquee. The pub is directly opposite the entrance to the ancient Polesworth Abbey.
