Capacious and welcoming community local. The wooden-beamed ceilings, now painted white, and stained-glass windows are all that survive from the Thirties original. The open-plan layout cleverly offers several nooks and crannies. The guest beers come from Greene King's own list. Steak night alternate Tuesdays. Breakfasts available 10 - 12 on Fridays and Saturdays until 5. Sunday lunch. Pool table. Live music Saturday nights.
