A Project William pub by Everards, the renovation of this run-down pub enabled the Brampton brewery to open their first tied house. A compact snug provides room for meetings, whereas the main room has plenty of corners for less public meetings. Memorabilia from the original brewery festoons the walls. A rear drinking area can be accessed through the pub. Snack food available. Live jazz first Sunday afternoon of the month. Chesterfield CAMRA Pub of the Year 2018. Has a large traditional cider selection (over 15 at any one time), awarded Chesterfield CAMRA Cider Pub of the Year 2019.
