Square Chapel is Grade II* listed, and is one of the few surviving Chapels of its kind, being built in 1772. Extensive additions were carried out between September 2015 and May 2017. The Café Bar opened on June 7th 2017. The venue is situated in the extension between the original Chapel and the Piece Hall. Upon entering from Blackledge, the long bar is on the left. Also on the left hand side upon entering is the newly formed entrance into the Piece Hall.

Up to five Real Ale taps are provided, along with one Cider and seven keg lines. The bar is now in partnership with Seven Bro7hers Brewing Co of Salford and serves a large number of Seven Bro7hers keg beers.

Cakes and hot beverages are served also. Regular events are held here, along with a Cinema. Card payments only.

Please note: alcohol only served after noon each day.
