Handsome, double fronted, 17th century pub. Four beers are rotated regularly, generally from local breweries like Bowman and Irving. Function room is used for many events such as theatre evenings, discos and live music. Home cooked food, using mainly local ingredients, is available in the bar, or restaurant on Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday lunchtimes. A quiz and meat raffle are held regularly on Sunday evenings.
