A fine-looking building set in a quiet location on the approach to Sizergh Castle. There are wooden and flagstoned floors in the large bar and dining area, with a further dining area upstairs. Three guest beers are all from the ever-increasing number of Cumbrian micro-breweries. Eclectic furniture and decorations abound in this warm and welcoming pub, which provides both locals and tourists with fine ales and food without compromise.
