Branch Pub of the Year in nine of past thirteen years, Hertfordshire Cider Pub of the Year 2022 & 2023. There are usually four real ales on offer, two national and two guest, with one always being dark; at bank holidays and the third weekend of the month extra beers are on stillage. Hearty homemade food and snacks, dogs welcome. There is a large garden and car park, the pub popular with walkers and cyclists as well as locals.
