Imposing red brick pub, formerly the Old Crown, with a terrace overlooking Brindley's historic river basins and the river bridge. Taken over, refurbished and renamed The Port House by Davenports in 2021, it has a maritime theme. Photos on the walls show the history of Davenports Brewery.

There is one large room with a long single bar along one side and a terrace overlooking the river (open during summer months). Children are welcome and there is plenty of seating.

The terrace has a stage for outside performances.

Food is available every day and there are separate menus for breakfast, light bites, sandwiches, mains, kids and desserts.
