A family run mid-19th century hotel situated in the centre of this small town very close to the Border which is famous for its association with the army regiment, the Coldstream Guards.

There is a large public bar, popular with locals and well equipped for traditional pub games and sports TV fans. A separate dining room and function room can both be used for larger parties, or for any private function. Good home-made food at reasonable prices is served seven days a week with roast dinners on Sundays. To the rear is a large secure beer garden as well as private parking.

NOTE: Real ale is only available in the summer months.
