NOV 2023 - Food service started on the 10th. Now got cask mark. Will be sourcing some local real ales soon to give as much choice as possible. They plan to always have one ale on, one waiting to come on with a spare should both sell out. EXCELLENT!

OCT 2023 - New Tenant taking over from 26th October. Bar only at present. - Some details may change.

Pleasingly returned back to a pub with its original name following a community buyout in 2008. The pub attracts both locals and food searching visitors. The bar has been sympathetically refurbished and offers a comfortable and cosy feel, with a wood-burning stove and separate the dining area. Real ales are from Scottish breweries both local and further afield. NOTE: Opening times may vary in winter.
