The pub was taken over by Kirkstall Brewery in summer 2023 and refurbished in the Autumn of that year, reopening in early December. The bar has moved but otherwise the layout remains mostly the same. Eight handpumps dispense a varied selection of beers from Kirkstall and Craven BrewCo plus a guest or two, recently from Five Points. There should always be a beer to suit most tastes. There is often a dark beer and a good range of draught craft and continental bottled beers. Spread over two rooms with an upstairs gallery, function room and covered outside drinking/smoking area. Awaiting full survey to check hours etc. Please check (especially) food hours before turning up on the off chance.
