Sunderland's first micropub, The Lighthouse, is located in the centre of Fulwell. Formerly Bojangles cafe, the pub has been transformed into a small but comfortable bar. There are four handpulls and three keg fonts ; the real ales are Double Maxim, a seasonal Maxim beer or a local guest and a real cider. Keg offerings include Lighthouse Craft, a rebadged Swedish Blonde keg. There is a small drinking area at the rear of the pub. No TV, no gaming machines and no music, just conversation. Closed Mondays & Tuesdays. Card payment available
There are frequent buses nearby to Sunderland City Centre and South Shields. Seaburn Metro is five minutes walk
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 1 regular beer.
