Large pub, dating from the 1930's, located on a busy junction very close to Fulwell Windmill. There are two drinking areas. Real ale is no longer available but the pub is planning some investment in the summer and it will be looked at again. Very much a diners pub, meals are served all day. There is a large car park and buses (which stop nearby) travel to Sunderland Centre, South Shields, Seaburn Sea Front and Jarrow.
