The Club was originally founded in 1922 to provide a place to meet, socialise and celebrate the return of ex-servicemen and their families as they returned from the World Wars I & II.

Though no longer just a members club. membership today goes much wider and reflects the exciting, constantly changing mix of people living and working in and around East London.
