A smart and handsome pub in the village of Stratton on the Fosse, offering, usually two (possibly three) ales, mainly from west country breweries, including their 'House Beer' from Bason Bridge Brewing near Highbridge.

There are plenty of ciders on, and they run up to four cider festivals per year.

The village is set in beautiful countryside, while the pub is directly opposite Downside Abbey.

Three letting rooms are available.

The pub is under new ownership from April 2022 after the retirement of the previous owners.
