A village centre pub with a traditional bar and quiet lounge. It hosts weekly quiz nights and hosts the annual Cottingham music festival. The pub opens out to the rear to include a former brewery converted into a function room. The pub has a beer garden and courtyard, both with covered smoking areas. Excellent value meals are served in large or small portions. There are four real ales.
