The Hunters Lodge is a large 16th-Century Coaching Inn, situated on the main A35 at the junction with Raymonds Hill, between the market town of Axminster in Devon, and the seaside town of Lyme Regis in Dorset. It is family friendly with a large garden, which includes a children's play area. It has a large car park, and there is level access to the pub to assist people with mobility problems. Well-behaved dogs are welcome in all bar areas. Good-value home-cooked food, often locally sourced, with an extensive menu and specials board is served lunchtimes and evenings, Monday to Saturday and on Sunday traditional roast is available Sunday lunchtimes until 5pm when the weekday menu resumes. A children's menu is offered, together with colouring sheet and crayons. In summer opens 11.30- 11 Fri - Sun.
