Warwickshire's first community-owned pub opened in 2017 after fundraising resulted in it being saved from closure when it was purchased by a collective of more than 200 people. Located on a street corner in the heart of the village, the pub features a wooden floor and an open-plan interior that gives a light and airy feel. Food is locally sourced, with many specials on offer. Circular walks start and end at the pub.

Winner of the Heart of Warwickshire's Pub of the Year 2021 and 2022.

The pub, which was originally established in 1750, was closed and put up for sale in 2016. In December 2016 it became the first community pub in Warwickshire when it was purchased by a collective of more than 220 people, who raised £350,000 and secured the pub’s freehold for the community. In 2023 a new village store was built with £90,000 raised to set up the shop thanks to grants and donations from Pub is The Hub, Warwick District Council, Norton Lindsey Parish Council, The Seccombe Trust, The Stilton Sniffers and a number of village benefactors.
