By the river entrance of Embankment tube station, in a building looking as though it should be part of a stately home! There is a bar & kitchen on the ground floor area serving various keg beers and lagers plus substantial food dishes and sharing platters as well as more snacky items. Beneath is a gay dance club linked to Circa Soho and with different opening hours.

Historic Interest

Grade II listed, Historic England ref 1237857. The house and the bridge nearby derive their name from Sir Edward Hungerford, an English MP active in the second half of the seventeenth century. He was known for his financial profligacy and as a way of making money started Hungerford Market which operated nearby until replaced by Charing Cross railway station.
