The only pub in England with this name – a clavel is a beam across the fireplace made from holm oak. This is a real country pub set in the Blackdown Hills area of outstanding natural beauty, with good ales, cider, wine, food and company. No TV or machines but children, dogs, walkers, cyclists and muddy boots are very welcome. Food is sourced from local farmers, suppliers and local businesses and gluten free diners and vegetarians are catered for. Local musicians play (Irish style sessions) every first Thursday of the month.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 2 regular beers.
