Thriving community free house on the outskirts of Taunton, near to the Blackdown Hills. A comfortable bar area is separated from the long dining area by a fireplace. The locally sourced home-cooked food is excellent (booking is advised at popular times). The streamside gardens are perfect for families and dogs. The pub offers good value accommodation. Popular quiz takes place on Sunday nights and there is occasional live music and a beer festival held in the first week of August.
