This is a restaurant, where drinking alcohol, including draught and bottled beer, is only allowed when food is being consumed.

Located on the edge of the town, this historic Inn (which featured in the famous Rebecca Riots of 1843) has been extensively refurbished in a contemporary modern style. Since Covid, what was a Gastropub has now been changed into a very popular, full a la carte restaurant and B&B and all drinks are now only served at the table with meals. Guests are not allowed to stand at the bar, and although there are cask handpumps on the bar, they are often not in use, although real ale in bottles may be available.
