The Farmers Arms is located at the heart of Pontarddulais town centre, surrounded by residential properties and retail outlets along the high street. The pub attracts all types of customers from diners, sports fans, to families and couples. There is a large traditionally decorated bar area, and a separate lounge/function room. Whilst outside, there is a good-sized car park at the rear and two outdoor drinking areas on either side.

There is one real ale handpump on the main bar, but this is only occasionally used, for Christmas and other special events. They are offering a range of foods for lunches with the Sunday carvery being especially popular.
