Free house at the northern end of Taffs Well. Three handpulls on the bar, two serving ale and one serving cider. Small independent brewers favoured with big hop flavours a common feature. A range of local and national craft beers is also available. Good-value meals (kitchen closed Sun eve and all day Mon). Buses stop nearby and Taffs Well railway station is a level 15 min walk to the south.
