The Elephant & Peacock is the food & drink arm situated within the residential Strutt Arms Hotel. It is a large stone building located on the main A6 and is basically a restaurant with bar facilities and outside seating, with 3 cask ales and numerous keg lines. A second refurbishment was completed November 2022, 3 years after re-opening following a 10 year closure. It has an open plan bar area with plenty of table space and additional restaurant facilities plus a large outdoor patio garden area. Happy hour drinks weekdays 4-6pm & Saturday 3-5pm.
