This comfortable, good-humoured village pub celebrates 45 years in the Good Beer Guide. Local Pub-of-the-Year 2013 and 2014, is the beating heart of its historic former lead mining community. Dining room and pool room flank L-shaped main bar where dogs are welcome. Music nights and beer festivals take place occasionally. Food, is popular and high-quality. No buses after early evening or on Sundays.
