Around a mile up Church Rd above the village, this attractive 18th century stone building is grade II listed in a popular walking area. It has exposed beams throughout and was sympathetically refurbished in 2017. The public bar (Buckley's kitchen) has a stone flagged floor and a Yorkshire range. Small garden and children's play area to the rear, and an extended patio with smoking area to the front. Home cooked food features daily specials. Walkers and dogs very welcome. Popular during the Rush Cart festival in August. 10% discount for CAMRA cardholders on cask beers.
