A food-led pub welcoming to drinkers, with a small open plan layout of two rooms and a dining area. There is also what is claimed to be the best riverside pub garden in Yorkshire where in the summer coffee and croissants are served, along with an ice cream shack. Nearby is the oft photographed picturesque Marmion Tower and the Lightwater Valley theme park Two regular beers from the nearby Masham breweries are served, together with two changing beers from other Yorkshire breweries (reduced to one during the winter months).
