An old coaching inn that dates back to the 18th century with a bright, airy feel. The front dining room is focused on serving quality food. The bar area, which looks out over the superb beer garden to the countryside beyond, can also be used by diners when busy and has comfortable cushioned benches with attractive decor and artworks. A large new covered dining area has been created in the beer garden. With good quality accommodation, this is an ideal base for exploring Berwickshire and north Northumberland. Look out for the old inn sign on the dining room wall.
NOTE: Booking is strongly advised, even if just going for a drink.
