A rejuvenated 19th-century village local with friendly staff. Its small, welcoming bar is stone-floored; the attractive larger dining and function area has floorboards and carpeting. At the front is a raised decking area for outside drinking and eating.
Food is very much part of the pub's offering. The menu, along with daily specials, children’s options and Sunday roasts should appeal to most tastes. Simple bar snacks are also served.
Handy for Paxton House and the River Tweed.
