Old description: This welcoming village local is known affectionately as the King Billy. The one guest beer, frequently Wolf, is often supplemented by a second. The lobby has a shield presented to Shipdham by the USAF 44th Bombardment Group (?The Flying Eight Balls?) which was stationed here, and a display of photographs. The L-shaped bar is comfortable with a real fire. There is a pool-table and a screen displays major sports. The large, well planted, garden includes a heated and covered patio.
