A lively, cosy two-roomed pub that has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Two of the guest beers are usually from Bateman's guest beer range from around the country with the third sourced from local micros.

Traditional pub games feature strongly with pool, darts and cribbage teams operating. Live football and other sporting events are shown on the TVs, and live music is provided on a regular basis.

The pub is ten minutes walk from the Mid Norfolk heritage railway station the longest heritage railway in Norfolk. The larger room is available for private hire.
