Busy during the summer, this pleasant and hugely popular pub and restaurant is within a short stagger of the popular Puckpool Park once a Palmerstone Folly. One of three shore based establishments on the Island during the last war - this was HMS MEDINA. Now in less hectic times, a good spot for a weekend away from it all, but if only for a Sunday treat the Sunday roast is a must. Breakfast served between nine am and eleven am and no food three to six in winter. There is an Inns of Distinction loyalty card. Closes 10.30 Oct - Mar. Outside school holidays food not available between 2,30pm and 6.pm.
