The majestic castellated building is claimed to have been commissioned by Henry VII to defend the Spithead, Solent and Southampton Water from invasion by the Spanish. There are conference facilities, a small meeting room and a banqueting room seating up to 200 people. Refurbished after a disastrous fire.
