This handsome Victorian character building dates back to 1873. Situated on the corner of Star Street and the High Street, it's a well supported town pub. Typical town local with a friendly welcoming character. It was refurbished, autumn 2018. After a complete refurbishment during the lockdown, it is now safe with new landlords and a bright outlook. 4 pumps of changing ales; 10% to card carrying CAMRA members.
